Two weeks ago I had to send in a vocal assignment. Firstly I didn’t have a tape recorder which I thought I did. When we finally dug out an old one somewhere and I recorded everything I needed I didn’t find the envelopes that I was seposed to send the tape in. So we ordered new ones. Well yesterday the envelopes finally arrived and I’m going to send in the tape on monday. But but but!!! I completely let myself lay back during the two weeks and I did not do the proceeding assignments so now I’m falling back. I’m so angry with myself >:O I should send in the 6th unit’s assignment on monday and I haven’t even done the 5th one yet. I should be ashamed. And honestly I am.
One good thig about the whole thing was that I finally got myself to make a sound that’s actually SOMETHING like the ‘g’ is seposed to be. Yay!
Also being here in the dutch enviroment I hear certain words all the time and I’m starting to understand what people are talking about. If not the whole deal then atleast the topic.
My mother is coming to visit in thre end of July and I’d love to make her proud by speaking a little so I’m trying really hard. Now. Back to studying!

By first grade I don’t mean my first school year buy infact the first rating I got from my dutch teacher. It was an 8 out of 10.

But please don’t make me actually SAY the previous. I still can’t get the ‘g’ right.
I worked on my second lesson this morning, it’s about phoning someone and syllables(and more but I will do that part tomorrow). Back when I was studying completely on my own I actually learnt a lot about syllables so that part was familiar and proved that I actually do remember some things.
Personally I’m not very proud of myself right now – I live with my boyfriend and his family, they’re all dutch so they speak dutch all the time, yet I’m scared to say anything even when I know how something is seposed to be said. I really gotta get rid of my shyness.
Anyway – I think I’m going well grammatically. The talking part is a different topic at the moment xP
I’m hoping I will force myself to speak soon enough :3

Okay, the list thing didn’t work – I was interupted by my sweetie who suggested getting a second-hand camera. I thought that it wasn’t such a bad idea :) I still don’t know which one to get tho.
