We bought our tickets for July 30 last night and I’m getting excited! I deferred to the men on choosing a restaurant for supper before the show and they picked the Texas Roadhouse. It is shaping up to be quite a fun and laidback outing!

How I did it: As my first graduation (as an instructor) approached, I asked what I could do to help. My colleague who was coordinating the ceremony asked jokingly, "You don't play the piano, do you?" I only received the sheet music about 10 days before graduation, so I practiced 6-7 times in those days so that I would be ready. My mom, sister, and I signed together quite a bit and it amused us that males always assumed we were talking about them, even when we were simply trying to carry on a conversation wi… Read how I did it…
I practiced 6-7 times (for 30-45 minutes) in 10 days so that I would be ready to play the prelude and processional/recessional for a graduation last Saturday. The only song that I had to learn was Pomp & Circumstance and, although marches are not my forte, executed it well.
Hebrews 12:1, “Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a huge crowd of witnesses to the life of faith, let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race that God has set before us” (New Living Translation).
