Started going to the chiropractor last month for my lumbar scoliosis. He’s really wonderful, and has given some fantastic advice on relieving pain and improving my posture.

How I did it: Got a recommendation from a friend for a good chiropractor in town. (Dr. Chris Lowery in Tallahassee, Florida.) Made the appointment, acquainted myself with what to expect, and made it a regular thing.Started out going once every two weeks, now I only need to go once a month, or as-needed.I feel so much better. I have lumbar scoliosis, and he corrected some things that were out of place in my neck, spine, and even hip. &… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Scott and I bought (or requested as gifts) each of the available seasons of LOST. Every night we've been able, we sit down together and watch one or two episodes. It's been wonderful to spend time together over dinner, or a bowl of ice cream, and share in the developing story! We've had great conversations about where we think the plot is going, and some of our theories crack each other up! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I used a common time management technique to help me classify life's problems. It forced me step back and examine the problem, instead of simply going into emotional overdrive. When I'd have a panic attack, I was hindered from DOING anything; I was just stuck in my fear and panic. But by stepping back and categorizing each situation as Urgent or Not Urgent, Important or Not Important -- I was forced to analyze the situation, and take i… Read how I did it…

Scott is going back to college at the end of this month. He is taking one class during the summer semester, and in fall, he wants to take a full course load.
I’m helping by having him live with me rent- and utilities-free. It’s meant he can put all the money from his two full-time jobs to other bills, and toward tuition.
Yay!
I have gone room to room, organizing files and donating clothes, moving furniture and shredding/recycling old paperwork and bills. I’ve replaced useful but non-beautiful things, and cleaned, cleaned, cleaned. I’m still working on it (a large Good Will donation is sitting in my garage for pick-up), but I’m well on my way!
