I quite fancy getting a Lexus IS 200 like Alan Partridge had, it’s a seriously good looking car, and I don’t quite know why else I want one, but rest assured I’m getting one, or possibly one of the new IS range, which admittedly are less aesthetically pleasing.

How I did it: Bought my new Acer laptop today. I’m working on my first C# program, an image host gallery ripper, it will hopefully automatically download an entire gallery of images from a specified URL and then put them in a folder on the user’s system.
Beavering away with my project, I’ve stuck with it and the end is finally in sight, although inevitably at this time I begin to see things I could have done better or in a different way, although I should really see this as a good thing as it adds to my experience.
I had a brief idea of the functions I’d need, although getting round to actually coding the backend stuff I soon realised that there’d be a lot more coding than I anticipated.
All that remains after completing the remaining two functions is to undertake some serious testing, cleanup some code and prettify the UI. Once that is done, I’ll be ready to deploy, crack open a beer and perhaps even give my chair a tilt!
