There’s always something to do in this world and sitting around focusing on ourselves won’t get anything good done. Life should be about helping others, not owning a bigger home, a nicer car, and better brand name clothes. To many need us who are so fortunate to give them a helping hand. Peace through volunteering and loving our neighbors enough to help them a little in their times of trouble.

The experience is worth it but with so many suffering people in the world, the gobs of money it costs to live in NYC could be better used to help others who have nothing.

I believe all Americans should spend a summer and go see as much of America as you can cram in a few months. It’s such a huge, and in many ways and places, beautiful and diverse land. get out and go!!! (And stay off the Interstate highways, stick to the backroads and really see this place away from the concrete and commercialism.)
