My Great Grandma had a few lions, as part of her job.
She was a lion trainer, (says Lion Tamer is the wrong terminology-they cant really be tamed)
She was a Kayes, and the Kayes family had a successful circus in Scottland.
My whole family has always been full of big dreamers, and animal lovers. And I have always loved Big Cats, and thought deep down, even before I knew this about my family, that my goal would be to live in Africa, among lions, and help save them.

I feel silly that its taken me this long to learn. especially since I come from a family full of mechanics (dads a mech, uncles a prof. drag racer, other uncle had numerous collectors, bros involved too etc. even my mom loves cars!)
But when I was learning to drive we didnt own a standard vehicle. So now here I am, a year into practicing every odd month for a day or two, just not enough to feel comfortable yet.
Im sure ill get around to it soon enough. Famous words of procrastinators. . .

It is now beleived that a balanced Ph, a balance within ourselves, is the state that our bodies naturally would like to be at. Yet with todays diet&lifestyle we are throwing our bodies out of whack. (*Never mind the introduction of hundreds(+) of new chemicals, and additives into our food systems making this natural balance harder to attain. )
sigh.
Here is not where I write further about the reasons why I beleive this balance is what we should all strive for. All I will say, is that when our hearts are telling us something is wrong, and our curiosity leads us down a path towards knowledge we may stumble upon the truth.
But I would like to use this website to eventually help me regain balance with these opposing things in my life.
thought/action
food/excersize
rest/productivity
love to myself and love to others.
