I’m being a lot more responsible now…my credit is finally high enough for me to get a credit card, I’m trying my best to piece out the little money I have, and I’m trying to get things done the right way the first time. I admit to my mistakes, try to learn everything quickly, and try to help as many people as I can. I feel much more responsible, at least! Especially when I said to my bf that yeah, I don’t expect him to take care of me financially, but I expect him to take care of me mentally, and I realized that yeah, it’s the way I’ve been brought up and it’s the truth.

How I did it: I haven't been in so long...so I set aside money and my bf and I set aside a date to go with a group of friends. Well, most of the friends bailed, and it was drizzly all day, but it felt so good to be there...I can't even describe it! I'm very glad I was able to go <3 Read how I did it…
How I did it: It's like this: start working full time at a job with insurance or get accepted full-time at a college, b/c otherwise, no health insurance!! So, thank God I finally got accepted!! Read how I did it…
How I did it: After the festival director finally got back to me, he said it'd be fine to be in the tent and he wanted 15% of the profits. The first couple days of the festival were nerve-racking, but eventually I relaxed and enjoyed myself, and sold almost all of the skirts!! In the end, after sorting the money out, I made about as much as a normal summer paycheck at work, but I feel I gained anyway, since I was outside all week, met new people from a… Read how I did it…

Well, it started off when I was talking about wood inlay, how neat it looks, and my dad started telling a story about his great grandfather (my great great great?) and how he
graduated” in 8th grade and went off to become a cabinetmaker, until the depression hit and he had to find a job at a dairy and his grandmother (my great grandmother?) was at a sewing factory, and that a few of the really neat pieces we have at home, he made! Isn’t that something!!
I’m halfway through the semester…a little more that that actually…so I’m in my second placement and I’m doing pretty well! I got my cap and gown and everything….It freaks me out, thinking about it, but is totally elating as well!! WOW!
