It’s a little scary right now. I’m in the process of divorcing my husband, whom I was with for nearly eight years and who supported me financially for most of that time. I haven’t worked since I found out I was pregnant with our son, which was alomst two years ago. I’m horrible with money, and so I asked him to handle all of the finances, which worked out great for us. So now I also have to figure that out. I’ve done it before, but I have NEVER been good at it. So now I have to find a job, and somehow manage to balance work, school (I have one more semester before I get my Bachelor’s), and a toddler. I know I can do it. I have to. I’m scared, but I know I’m gonna MAKE IT WORK! :D

How I did it: I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, so I do have a talent for it. It seems only natural that I would one day design my own tattoos. Plus I've often thought seriously about becoming a tattoo artist. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well since I follow the band's website I pretty much just kept checking it to see when and where they would be touring. A couple of weeks before the concert I saw they were coming to Knoxville (about three hours away from my town). So I went down my list of people who I'd most like to go to the concert with, found someone who wanted to go, and bought tickets. The rest is history. Read how I did it…
How I did it: Used two little melodies, a different one for both the Old and New Testaments. It's been worth it because a) I am a Religious Studies minor, and b) it helps when looking for a specific verse because I don't have to look up whatever book I need in the table of contents. It didn't take long at all once I had the melodies down. Read how I did it…

I’m so excited!! I’m going with my best friend to see The Smashing Pumpkins THIS FRIDAY!!! I’ve been watching their tour DVDs and listening to them getting PUMPED!! I can’t even imagine how elated I’m going to be when I finally see Billy Corgan in person, and hearing him and the band perform the music that has been such a huge part of my life for so long.
I just bought tickets today for The Smashing Pumpkins show in Knoxville, TN on July 23rd. I’m so friggin’ EXCITED. This band has been my favorite ever since I first discovered them back in 7th Grade. The last two times they came to my state I wasn’t able to go due to circumstances beyond my control…and the last time was on my birthday, which really sucked. But anyway…YAY!!!!
