Holy crap – so I just found out at work today – I’m going to Paris, Monaco, and Milan! Ahhhhh! I can’t believe it’s true! So unreal! I can’t believe I’ll fulfill this list item without even trying on my part – it’s a work obligation, lol. I’ll be gone for 2.5 weeks…a LONG time. Whu-who!!!

I did some tracking and some calculations and to get a 3-month emergency fund, I’d need approximately $15,000. Phew. That’s quite a sum. But that’s if I kept my spending just as it is today – if I were relying on an emergency fund, I’d definitely spend less.
So for a goal, I’m going for a $10,000 emergency fund. If I come in to some good bonuses or something like that, maybe it’s doable in 3-years. Otherwise I’m going to guess it will take about 5-years. That’s $2,000 a year. That works out to a little more than $75 from each paycheck. Paychecks are super tight as it stands today…not sure if this is feasible.
