I really want to buy a sewing machine but I’ve decided the one I want which is a good one (not super expensive but not super cheap). I wanted to buy one in November but now I’m not sure.
I’ve purchased several sewing books and taken a class here and there, and I know there are a lot of blogs and tutorials online for free. I’ve been stocking up on cute cotton fabrics..
But since goals higher on my list are to reduce debts and lose weight, I may have to hold off on this goal until next spring. I’m not going to be sewing any clothes until I reach my goal weight anyway, and I don’t want to buy a machine and then end up being lured into buying more fabrics, supplies, dress form, etc. etc. now when I’m trying to reduce my debts. I think in the spring I will really practice sewing and then in the summer I can try to make some clothes.
Friday am I couldn’t find a credit card I planned to take on a trip so I had to spend extra time looking for it, and because of this I wasted $150 (because I was running late had to take a taxi, still missed the train, had to pay difference for another ticket, and missed a tour I had signed up for since I arrived later than planned).. I did find the card so I was pleased, and also really the problem occurred bc I HAVE been decluttering and all the other rooms and closets are fine but now my bedroom is a disaster area. SO I know that’s the room I need to focus on.
Having a tidy living area will make me calmer. Also my desk at work is always pretty neat on top but I should really empty out the drawers..
This weekend I am in NYC, so lots of fun going to broadway shows, and the MOMA, saw a movie. Next weekend I’m taking a class (it’s to learn crochet so kind of fun?)
