I'm doing 18 things
Well, heres the deal. My oldest sister announced she was pregnant the day after I announced my pregnancy. We are 3 weeks apart. Im not gonna lie. I wasnt happy. You see we couldnt be more different if we tried. She and her husband are both professors at the college and I am a stay at home mom. All they seem to talk about is baby IQ all the time and Im just not into that. Im worried about the comparisons my family is going to make. Also, as selfish as it sounds, I kinda wanted the spot light. Its hard because everyone talks about OUR pregnancies OUR babies. Trust me, I KNOW I am being selfish and immature but I cant help but have these feelings. Also, We both live in the same small town with no intentions of moving away which means our kids will also be going to school together in middle school and High School. I hope my kiddo doesnt feel like he or she has to keep up with her child. I just want to be happy and enjoy this pregnancy but this has made things a little complicated.
Err, I wish these feelings would go away!
