While I do hope to do some overseas travel I will always be a fan of the road trip. There is nothing like getting in a car with some friends and hitting the road for the ultimate freedom. Many people drive 25,000 miles a year without going 100 miles from home. Woo hoo, do I love the road trip. So far I have traveled to New York, Florida, Arizona and Wyoming for my long trips in every direction. Colorado seems the favorite though, having driven there three times, all for different reasons strangley enough. What needs to happen is a couple good trips out east and a trip to Marti Gras to pick up the south central states. California is the state I want to see the most(of the 48) espescially with Nevada on the way, another state I have not been too. Then I either make a big Northern loop home or make plans for another trip out to Washinton and Oregon. Not being a fan of 5 day road trips, I think I will fly to Alaska and save Hawaii for last.
I have never had a place all to my own and I trully believe in owning so I think this is the best goal for myself at this time. I don’t want to have to cover a whole mortgage payment so having a house that could be split in two would be perfect. I am working on lowering my credit card debt and raising my credit score. I plan on working extra hours untill spring to raise the funds for a down payment.
