This is becoming a habit.It is going well.
10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.
Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.
It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

This is becoming a habit.It is going well.
I am going with her to the grocecy, hardware, pharmacy, and furniture shop tomo. I really do this for her, I would rather watch some sports on tv.
Suddenly I like working out at home and I can focus when working out at home. This was always impossible in the past. I will pick up a few more things for working out at home.

I am slipping a little with this goal. I will try to make this week awesome.

I did all the weekly shopping with her this week. She is currently a stay-at-home-mom, so she does the weekly shopping. But this Saturday I went with her to the grocery store, drug store, do-it yourself center, etc. She thanked me all week because she felt it really helped her get things done. I will now try to do this every week. But I must say it is not my favorite activity.
I buy a lot of magazines and newspapers, I also print out a lot of stuff. Controlling the paper at work and at home is my next step. This will improve matters.
my goal is now min 2 litres per day, only rarely do I go below that amount. I think this goal is completed.
I had a great home workout. I figure I can now work out twice a week at the gym and twice per week at home. 4 times per week should do it.
The past week was ok, but today was excellent. I was very focused, door closed, working away like mad. I have a gut feeling that next week will be very good because I have tasted success!
The last week was a great week. I gave away at least 50 percent of my clothes, so my closet looks great. I arrived at work every day 1.5 hours earlier, and cleared out a massive backlog and got everything caught up. I actually sat at my desk and read a book on Tuesday afternoon because everything was done. My assisant and I have a call log instead of just post-its, and we have an A B C list of priorities. Everyday the goal is to have my inbox cleared out, the call list answered, and the A list completed.
I also cleaned out my garage.
I got a better blackberry to help with this. this was a good idea. By habit, my first hour everyday at work is my emails. this is great and works well. My inbox is always under one page. I would call this success. I am proud.
I pick up after the kids as a habit now. I am trying to clean the kitchen as a habit now as well. this is going well.
I am making progress on serveral levels here, for sure, but I cannot yet say that I feel the satisfaction of accomplishment.
I rarely go below 1.5 litres perday and if I do it is because I drank litres of skim milk or juice. I feel much better about myself.
i am working out and watching what I eat. I have really cut back on fat, alcohol, and sugar. I am drinkng skim milk, oj, and vegetable juice like a frigging camel. I have learned a lot about my own schedule and habits and I realize that I cannot go to my current gym more than 2 times a week due to time constaints. I bought some more equipment for my home and set it up in the basement. I avoided this in the past because I had focus problems when workin out at home but I think I am past this now. between home and gym things look good. I am also thinking about changing to a gym closer to my house.
I will need to make daily and weekly target lists and keep my office door closed.
I need a better routine, like the first hour every morning I read and answer my emails, and then again the first hour after lunch. I also need to get a Nokia Communicator or something that is easier to read and type with then just my blackberry, which is too small.
