How I did it: If I see someone wearing something I like, reading an interesting book etc I just smile and say something short, but nice. I try not to be intrusive or make them feel I want to make them chat, just something quick like "Great book!" Read how I did it…
How I did it: Every month we all go through our stuff and remove what no longer fits, can be used etc and dispose of as appropriate. If it's usuable we hand it down or give to goodwill. If it's trashed and usable for crafts or as cleaning rags I will cut it up otherwise it gets recycled. Read how I did it…
The taxes were done and filed!
I paid off a sizeable debt in full and another smaller one.
I sleep better-things are tight of course, but not having as much scary stuff over our heads feels good.
I should add that we decided 5+ years ago to not use any credit cards and indeed do not have any. So, as we erase debt we are not creating anymore.
It occurs to me there are always new books on the shelf so this is an unattainable goal but it serves to remind me to keep it up!
I finished the tank (and hated it) and that’s about it. I knit other thigns but not what I thought I would.
