I’m moving like molasses. The good news is that I haven’t gained any weight, but since May I’ve lost 15 pounds. At this rate, not sure I’ll make my goal. I’m exercising but considerably less than before. My eating is good; still no sugar or flour, not because of weight but because they don’t serve me well. I swim about 2 days a week and have just taken up ice skating lessons. I’m very consistent with weight loss meeting; only missed 1 since June or so. I could do better on drinking water and walking the dogs. All I can do is all I can do.

How I did it: I bought several decorations but not nearly enough to decorate the house. What I realized is that I started too late in trying to find just the "right" ones--not too kitschy. Then, I got involved with life and my relationship and traveling . . . endless excuses. I did put up a wreath! Now, I must make sure same thing doesn't happen for Christmas. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I joined 43 Things and made a public commitment to take a picture a day for 7 days. I made sure to carry my camera in my purse the whole time (remember to check battery charge every few days) so it would be available when I needed it. I even carried my camera when I was walking the dogs! Every morning, I woke up with an idea of what I'd photograph that day: landscape, flowers, humans, animals. I also tried to take pictures at differ… Read how I did it…

I’ve slowed down considerably—I’ve got 18 pics up. But that’s ok, I plan to get to 30 pics no matter how long it takes. I did buy a new camera; a Canon Rebel Ti. Intimidating as hell! But I’m determined to learn . . .
I went to class last week, yeah! No class for next 2 weeks because instructor is traveling. More later.
