I’ve been home a lot more lately and so I’ve had more time and fewer excuses (need to eat and I’m not stuck in town). I’ve also had a few things in the fridge that I knew wouldn’t last long. Starting with an ingredient or two rather than a finished product in mind seems to make it easier to get started.

How I did it: I moved into my own apartment and got to set up my own kitchen. So I think having a space that I feel is my own helps. I don't worry about taking up too much space with my items so I can keep what I want in the pantry and make large batches to freeze for later. I also had a month to settle in before I started school again, so I had plenty of time to get into cooking. Read how I did it…
I have an idea, I just need to get all the pieces together. I’m starting with a few web pages, and I need to find a good location. I’ll plan to find a few possible locations and get preliminary pages up tonight.
Does anybody know how much it hurts your chances of being admitted to a master’s program if your undergrad was in an unrelated area?
