My advice for somebody wanting to donate their hair is to donate it to Wigs for Kids. I had originally planned on donating it to Locks of Love, but I discovered that Locks of Love actually charges the children for the wigs, I also found out that children with Alopecia (a disease in which a child’s hair falls out) are not eligible for the wigs. Wigs for Kids does not charge the children for the wigs, and burn victims, cancer patients, and children with alopecia are all eligible!
