How I did it: I one day just sat down at the computer and start pumping out applications online. I applied to maybe 7, if I remember correctly. Three days went by I had already received 4 interviews. I of course, went with the job more closer to my dream job which is a photographer and accepted an interview with Sears Portrait Studios. I had the interview with them and after they found out I had three years of experience they hired me on the spot. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I've had this goal up for who knows how long and I never thought that I would never finish it. Well, one day my better half and I made a bet to be 150 pounds by the end of the month and for some reason, I think I just needed the motivation to do it because I just got on it right away and it worked and now I'm standing here, 7 days later at a weight that I haven't been since last year. How I did it: Well, I pretty much started on my own learning the different ways of saying "I love you". I started out with languages that I already knew and when I ran out of that, I went to online translators and such. I have been self – teaching myself belly dance for two years now and I have yet to perform or even obtain (or make) a costume let alone someone critique me based on my skills. I am going to make myself a checklist and once that checklist is complete then I will consider this goal complete.
*Practice a hour to an hour and a half a day.
*Study different styles of belly dance other then hafia, gothic, and tribal fusion.
*Obtain (or make) at least once outfit that reflects who I am and my style of dance.
*Join a troupe.
*Perform at least once.
*Learn to play finger cymbals.
*Learn to correctly balance a sword.
*Learn that blasted yelping noise to cheer on other dancers.
Let’s face it, I need money to pay off tuition for college.
So, I have to let go of my beloved photographs and sell them…
I’ll post a link as soon as I get the works of selling things figured out.
I have so far sold three photos.
