I’d love to do it. I tried it for a while as well. But, given that my job keeps me out of the home 5 days a week, its just so hard to find vegan stuff. I had to live with just salads for a long time!
Being a vegetarian is difficult enough limiting my options of food while traveling. I wish there was an easier way of doing this.
Haven’t given up on the task though!

I know its supposed to be city that never sleeps, but in a more personal context its a city that keeps me awake! Sleep deprived all night fun is an endemic disease that gets hold of me whenever I go there!
And I ain’t complaining!
Big cities rock! The people, the skyscrapers, the works….and New York, to say the least, is one!
So what’s the deal with New York?
Is it the cross dressing (wo)man who turned the gang and me away from the swanky club at Meatpacking district coz “I’m so sorrie honie, but you are not on the guest list”...
So what’s the deal with New York?
Is it the Pakistani cab driver who was blaring loud (and quite awesome I must say) pakistani music out of his speakers and when I complimented him on it – he asked me if I understood it. A little later we switched to something that he thought I understood…
So what’s the deal with New York?
Is it the oldest bar in the country where you’re supposed to hold onto one mug of beers in each hand and finish them at once… and yeah well dressed ladies do the same…
So what’s the deal with New York?
Is it the ‘New York’ pizza which took me one stupid cabbie, three streets of walking and a ride with my friend to get to…
So what’s the deal with New York?
Is it the many thousands of people – of which quite a few I’m stupid enough to talk to…
So what’s the deal with New York?
It’s all this and more. New York minute sure is a minute and then some.
The Citi never sleeps. Nor do you.
Viva NYC.
