I work in a building that does not have a passenger elevator (freight only), so I take the stairs every day. It doesn’t take that much effort to climb one or two flights of stairs. As they say, “One up, two down”.

Regular care of your finger and toe nails helps keep them in good condition. What I do to make sure that my nails are cared-for is set aside money in my budget specifically for visits to the nail salon. I get a manicure and pedicure usually once every two weeks, and then I re-paint my nails every few days (when the old polish starts chipping off). The polish also helps my nails not split, and it keeps me from playing with them and making them worse because I can’t see the actual nail, just the polish that’s on it.
Please be aware that a lot of this is regurgitation of what others have said over and over again. You can find lots of blogs out there that will tell you this same information. If you’ve already been reading blogs about this, you can probably skip this entry.
First, it helps to have an accurate read of how many people are reading your blog. This means not only putting a hit counter on your blog (I have JellyCounter – paid version, which lets me keep track of each entry in addition to the front page) but also tracking how many people are subscribed to the RSS feed (for this I use FeedBurner – free version).
Once you have your counts, submit your blog to the various blog indexes (search “blog submission sites” on Google). That will get you listed, but it won’t be the biggest boost you get.
According to many sites out there, the absolute best way to increase your readership is community participation. Get out there, read other blogs (and leave relevant and useful comments), participate in forums, play Blogshares, register on social networking sites, and don’t forget your IRL community!
You should also attach your blog’s URL to your signature – at the end of email messages, forum posts, comments on other blogs, your member profiles, and even on your business card.
