I grew up in a beautiful, pastoral region. I still miss the sounds, the smells, the weather…. the beauty of the outdoors. I would like to be able to live a life that did not depend on being a corporate worker bee.

How I did it: I watched Fast Food Nation. I gave up meat the next day. Then I bought a lot of vegetarian and vegan cookbooks so I would not get "stuck". While difficult to maintain this diet for a long time, I find it a wonderful healthy way of eating and still eat about 75% raw foods, mixed with cooked… Read how I did it…
How I did it: About a month out, I set a date, the Give Up Coffee day. i researched coffee alternatives during that time and ended up buying Teecino and Roma, both herbal "coffee" made from various things like barley and chicory. i counted down to the last day and enjoyed that last cup with everything I had!The first five days of withdrawal were pretty bad, I had a severe headache every day for five days. Then it started to abate. I am much calmer now,… Read how I did it…
I saw this on YouTube within the last year. It looks beautiful. It reminds me of Sufic Dance. Very entrancing to watch. I’ve heard that it is really good for your upper body and arm/ hand strength as well. Someday, maybe I’ll be able to do this with LED lights, and entertain my kids.
I love yoga. I do it about four times a week. I would like to get stronger so I can do it every day, and also would like to learn many more postures.
