I read someone’s blog where they wrote an entry about zits (haha?), about how icky they were and how bad it was to pick them.
A girl commented on the entry and said that she didn’t think it was that bad, as long as you only did it when they ready to pop.
And for some reason… that really stuck in my head.
Usually I go for them as soon as I see one coming, but now I wait until it’s ready.
Haha, it sounds like I’m waiting for my date to get ready or something :D
But it really does work.
This has helped me to, first of all, let some of them disappear. If I keep touching my face all the time, I get more germs in there and it makes the situation worse.
Some of them go away before I even know it and I KNOW that it’s because I don’t go around fiddling with them all the time.
It’s great to have a (nearly) clear face :)

My mom and my brother bought me a bike for my birthday.
It’s the best thing ever! It helps my dog get the exercise he really needs (I’m not really a runner) and I get to work at lightning speed!
Or at least.. bike speed :)

.. and it’s showing!
I realized that I had to start from the beginning. He had a lot of good basic knowledge but I want to go further. Maybe even compete one day?
He has a big problem with other dogs and people—he wants to meet EVERYONE, even if they’re not too keen on it.
Since he’s such a big dog, he has to come to the understanding that not everyone wants to greet him the same way his mommy and daddy does.
We’re big on socialization right now, just being around other dogs and people without anyone greeting or petting him. It’s going SO GREAT! He’s met my expectations and more. He is being so good!
Before, when he would be around another dog, any dog, that he didn’t get to greet, he would whine, bark and start shaking – it would really look like a mixture of him being happy, angry and scared.
But after being around other dogs that he doesn’t even know, and not being able to walk up to them, he’s really calmed down a lot.
I think he’s starting to realize that even if he whines, barks or does whatever sound you may call it, it won’t work.
We have a lot of work in front of us but this is such a super duper start! :D
