How I did it: I saved up my tips from work and rewarded myself with a re-furbed Ipod Video 80 GB. I'm a goldie oldie when it comes to music and it took me a while to get used to not owning a physical copy of music but I started small - purchasing a single here, an oldie but goodie there. I love having control over my music. No more punching through radio stations playing pop-py junk or catching the last ten seconds of a song… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I only have one friend who drives a stick shift and she was more than willing to help, it was myself that I doubted! We went to an empty flat parking lot ( no concrete bumpers) and not to be modest or anything but I caught on right away ( thanks, Beth for being an awesome teacher) My "lessons" were this summer and I hadn't driven a stick since then. How I did it: Sooo...I had desired a VCH ( look it up!) for awhile BUT insisted on having a female piercer who was also APP certified/approved. After moving back to Columbia, SC, I found there was a new studio opening - owned and operated by an awesome female piercer (thanks, Sarah!)So my friends "gifted" me my piercing for my birthday last August. I am waiting for a match – someone who needs to be tutored during my available hours. I’m looking forward to this as I can’t imagine having reached adulthood with the inability to read…the very notion conjures up total frustration.
