One of my friends who was preparing to apply to become a firefighter talked me to it. Firstly I didn’t quite know what it was but since we had been running 4-5 miles three times a week I felt prepared (I wasn’t) haha
This thriatlon consisted of 750 meters swimming, 20 kms cycling and 5 kms running (at least in Spain it is the standard one.)After 50 meters of swimming I couldn’t hold my breath and I thought about giving up (these people were really prepared) but I just calmed myself down change style and start thinking about finishing it instead of giving up!
Finally I finished and I felt great, no doubt I ended the last but it was worth it.
My opinion if you have to do it, first of all calm yourself, don’t care about what the others might say and take all the time you need without stopping of course!
