How I did it: I had just watched the Vice-Presidential canditorial debates on TV and I had my hair up and I was looking in the mirror and had an OMG moment. I put on my normal make-up and hubby's reading glasses. I was going to wear this conservative blue dress I have but I really wanted it to be a goof of her so I went bright red white and blue instead. Co operative divorce. I had him read it and he agreed it way the best way to go. Now that it is becoming a reality and I have filed he has lost it.
I don’t remember requesting to change my name to F#& You B!+#.
Yep that’s what he calls me now, and even told me that I deserve to be beaten when he knows that my Dad would get drunk and beat my mom till our neighbours would call the police.
I told him in a calm yet dead serious voice that he should never say that to anyone.
He told me that he was going to spend Sunday night in the house after he had already moved out. I blocked him at the top of the stairs and told him that ,that was NOT part of our agreement and that the kids were already asleep and he could see them Monday when he got off work.I made it so that he can come by EVERY night after work until they go to bed so he can have dinner, watch TV and help them with homework. Things he never did for the last 14 years. He also gets to stay here Friday after work until Sunday bedtime and I stay at the apt. This way the kids don’t have to shuttle back and forth. We do. His routine is the same. I’m the one who does not get to see my kids as much.
When he showed up and said he was going to sleep at the house Sunday night while I was in the house. I told him flat out no. He needed to go four doors down the street to the apt. He would not go so I told him. Fine you want to be a tough guy. I will call the police and let’s see who they ask to leave.
That was when he threatened me.
I asked him to apologize tonight when he came by to see the kids. He did not.
Our lawyers told us we need to see mediators to get communicating counseling. You think? He had a pissy fit and stormed out the last time we saw one.
We have a list of 3 more names.
So hard to be nice when I know all of his buttons I can push.
