Gateway C143XL (14” WXGA, Centrino, dedicated GPU) or Fujitsu T5010 (13” WXGA LED backlit, Centrino 2). I had a long discussion about it here: http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/showthread.php?t=21865
But I can’t afford it right now. I’m trying to survive. But I know that clients like it when you show up to meetings with a laptop, ready to show them what you’ve been doing.
I know I want a tablet so I can replace my workstation and draw directly into my computer from wherever I may be. But I’m not a cartoonist (for a living) anymore. So, if six months from now I still lack the cash to buy my dream machine, I want to buy something that works and works well. I’ll hit Lex up for the specs to make sure it plays nice with Second Life, but a plain laptop will cost a lot less than the tablet option.
