This is an on-going challenge for me and I hope for the long term success. My first secret, for at least partial success, is spending more time at the kitchen table. I’ve started making breakfast and insisting on eating diner at the table. That alone cuts 1.5 to 2 hours of tv watching out of the daily schedule.

I have an idea a pretty good one about monkeys well chimps and 3rd graders in a suburban town. I’ve got maybe 4 pages but I’m stuck. The characters are in place,I’ve got a begining and an idea for an end but what about the middle.
And being an artist I want to atleast sketch out some images for this story. When on earth am I going to find time for that?

I wanted to go on a cruise or escape to some adult only tropical beach BUT there’s no one to watch the kids. Hmmmm.
And my husband says he has a seminar he has to attend and we realy should be around for the baby’s first birthday. Well, maybe DC. I’ve never been there, the whole family can take the train- see the Smithsonian, the monuments. This might be the way to go.
