Not for everyone, however the experiences and friends will last a lifetime. There is no other way to explain this to someone who has not become a marine, truly a one of a kind experience! Good Luck!

I spent a year in Japan with the marines. It was worth it for the experience however they are not friendly to American military in Okinawa.
