I recently visited Guatemala and hung out with some people there who didn’t speak English. We had a translater with us, so we could communicate a little, but it was so annoying not to be able to ask questions and tell them about myself. We had a great time, but I really want to be able to write to them and visit them again without an interpreter. I also think I would just be really happy if I could speak another language, I’ve always wanted to and I don’t know why I haven’t done it yet.
