Helping people is so rewarding. Just seeing the smile on their faces makes it all worthwhile. Even when that person is totally ungrateful for what you did, it still makes you feel good about yourself that you were so selfless and took the time to help them. The smallest thing can save someone’s life that day. That’s why it’s so important that we reach out to others. You never what you can do to make a difference!

Sometimes I really wish I could be more carefree and less self-concious. Being so shy and restrain makes me worry over everything I say I do, communicating with people and even makes me try too hard at times.
It holds me back when I want to crack a joke cos I don’t think anyone would laugh, and then when someone else has the same idea and shares it, making the group laugh, I feel jealousy eating me inside.
When I’m too shy to let others know of my feelings and end up affecting myself, like causing trouble for myself, I feel so betrayed and worse, to know that it was all because of me.
Sometimes I’m too shy to try out new things, approach new friends and just live it and then I just think about how life has shortchanged me and I wind up wishing I could shake this shyness off.
So yea, being shy certainly has taken a lot of fun and enjoyment out of my everyday life… =(
