A year I got to where I could solve the cube in two minutes. People still think it’s impressive.
Solving a cube is not about brain power, it’s just technique that you learn and practice.

A couple of weeks ago my brother sold me his car (He’s getting married and didn’t want it to go out of the family.) So I, a computer geek who could care less about cars, ended up with a shinny black Porsche 944. Such is God’s humor.
Regardless, I had to learn to drive it. The first few days I was doing all the usual stalling out at stop lights, nearly getting creamed by cars behind me, and begging cars not to pull up close behind me when I stopped pointed uphill.
But after a week of driving two hours a day, it began to feel almost natural. The fear is at least gone.
The biggest thing I wish someone had shown me when I was getting started is that on level ground, it possible start with out using the gas pedal. Just the clutch is enough. If I’d known that I think I would have not tried to overcomplicate things.
