Encourage all the smokers who have the Amazing Goal of quitting (read all 2 entries…)
Arggh! 2 years ago

My slow cut back to zip on the cigs has failed miserably. Well, not entirely as I am stuck smoking two cigs a day. For some reason I cannot push through to one cig a day. I have considered throwing my smokes out, locking myself in the apartment and just dealing with it. Otherwise, I will continue to procrastinate and put this off.

Big tobacco has a hold on me, not only through addiction, but psychologically. One nice long drag, how I yearn for it. Then I remind myself why I am trying to do this.

My family, my health. If you are reading this and are smoker who is thinking about quitting; join my fight. We can tear down this addiction together. Everyone, make sure you continue to cheer on those who are trying to quit. Encourage the habit kick!

Quit Smoking (read all 2 entries…)
Losing the Habit. 2 years ago

I can roughly burn through a pack of a smokes in just about 2 days. Yesterday marked my first day towards quitting. I was originally going to go cold turkey but decided against it. Instead, I only smoked a total of 3 cigarettes (when I am absolutely needed them) within a 24 hour period.

Today marks a new day for. Presented with yet a bigger challenge. I woke up with an astronomical craving for a smoke. Today I can only allow myself two cigarettes (once again, when I absolutely need them).

Tomorrow, I will only have one cigarette and after that nothing. I haven’t been out and about too much since trying to do this, I use my time to play a video game to take my mind off of things.

AAAAAARRRRRRRGH! I will win and so will you.

Encourage all the smokers who have the Amazing Goal of quitting (read all 2 entries…)
Untitled 2 years ago

Hello everyone.

I am a die hard smoker who became a statistic 7 years ago. I gave into peer pressure like an idiot. I was under the assumption I had excellent control. Was I ever wrong. I have had some good times with my friend the Big Tobacco, but ultimately our friendship is no longer mutual. You see I have a daughter now, someone who needs me. I must not be selfish to her needs as I must remain on this Earth as long as possible. If you are a smoker who is reading this. I encourage you to join me on the fight to cut the habit. This certainly won’t be easy, but with individuals like John Lee cheering you on, it can’t be that bad. Support and encouragement goes a long way.

Lets do this together! Thanks everyone, and a big thanks to John Lee!
