Well, it’s been eight months since I’ve had Audrey and I’ve done it! Even better, I’ve lost three pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight =) Woo hoo! Unfortunately, I haven’t really had a chance to get back to my old exercise regime, but taking care of her, the dog, and the home, along with running around at work and breastfeeding, I haven’t really needed to do the extra exercise. As I said before, I’m certain that breastfeeding has a lot to do with it. If I’d have known that’s all it takes to lose the weight, I’d have breastfed ages ago! haha

My husband and I (boyfriend, at the time) went from Colorado down to Texas, then eastbound to Tennessee, up to Pennsylvania, then back west to Colorado via a completely different route. It was a true test for our relationship, being cooped up in a car for so long. It was one of the best times of my life! We hit everything from race tracks (Bristol and Indianapolis) to caves. We visited friends we hadn’t seen in years and friends we knew only through the internet. Next time, we hope to hit the West Coast. We’ll see if we can take the kid.
I realize that there are A LOT of people my age in this country that’s in as much debt/more debt than I am. But damn! It’s a little scary to see the actual numbers. With all the new changes in my life right now, it looks like we could get EVERYTHING paid off in five years (barring any unforseen expenses). Until then, it’s living from paycheck to paycheck. sigh At least if you really look at it, the most of our debt is in car and student loans. I couldn’t imagine having the whole thing as credit card debt—how do people do it?
