Over the last year, I’ve met three different people I still keep in touch with this way. Being forced together, and ending up having some of the greatest conversations.
Thank you for bringing this memory to mind. A weekend spent in the woods of Vermont with a woman I loved, inhibitions cast aside for three wonderful days without clocks, or highways, or cellphones. Washing her hair in the brook; finding an old pot in a hidden cellar-hole and using it to cook our dinner; dancing in the rain.
