My weight has ALWAYS been around 120-125lbs even when I was working for ChickFilA and eating $8.00 worth of fast food everyday. Now that I’ve started working in a call center and sitting on my butt all day, my weight has gone up to 130-135+lbs.
Last week, I joined the gym.
Tomorrow, I’m going to go buy healthy food to eat this week.
That’s been another problem, not just being sedentary all day but also that my coworkers always want to go out to lunch and spend entirely too much money on entirely too many calories.
I WILL meet this goal.

This morning I sold a juicer I bought a while back (it wasn’t that great and I rarely used it because it was SO loud) for $25.
This Saturday I’m going to do a deep house cleaning for a cancer patient. She’s paying me $10/hour and she said it’s going to take a long time since she hasn’t been able to clean for quite some time so I’m figuring I’ll make another $60-$70 doing that.
_ All this extra money is going straight towards my Discover card which makes me very, very happy.
I’m also pretty stoked because I LOVE my new job but I don’t love that being in a call center I’m immobile for nine hours a day. I literally don’t leave my computer chair for anything.. so this deep cleaning will give me an opportunity to get up and get some exercise and physical activity. I’m getting weird aches and pains from sitting around all day. I’m just not used to it.
PS. For anyone who is spiritual, please say a prayer for the victims of the Colorado fires tonight. Many people are being evacuated and some of the fires still have 0% containment. :(

My utilities this month went way up due to the Texas heat. :(
Today I made a new budget to reflect higher electricity bills for the rest of the summer as well as higher grocery costs in my area as of late.
I figured out that I should have an excess $517/month to put towards paying off my debt of $2,243.02. I put 2243.02/517 in a calculator and it told me that this means my debt should be paid off in 4.34 months. I asked Wolphram Alpha “How many days is 4.43 months?” Apparently it’s 192 days. Then I asked it “What is 192 days from June 24?” That glorious, glorious day is November 3.
I know for me this is a big motivator. To know that if I chip away at this debt steadily, I can enter 2013 debt-free. :)
The other thing that is good is that the budget I made is pretty liberal. This means if I can cut back on my groceries/utilities/misc. expenses than I can put even more towards debt and dig myself out of this hole even faster. ;)
