One effective way to do so is drive a diesel and run it on either homemade biodiesel or cooking oil, or both as I do. It is relatively easy and I am always happy to help others with the information. I have also added insulation to my house, went all flouresant bulbs, corn stove for heat and I am working on going to a combo of solar and homemade power from cooking oil with a generator. It costs a lot to go green, but it is worth it. What cost can we put on our children’s future?

2. Convert a Hollywood star's car to Cooking Oil
1 entry1 person
I have seen and often heard of stars in Hollywood mention an interest in biofuels. In particular some have said, like Julia Roberts, they would like to have a car that ran on cooking oil. I would like to do a conversion for one of these stars. I have converted other vehicles, and drive my own 600+ miles a week. I believe this could help spread the word about green fuels. Anyone know somebody famous with a diesel?

I have done this conversion to 3 vehicles so far. I drive 600 miles a week so to work and do it all on cooking oil, or at least 95% or better due to the nature of heating the engine up on diesel and then switching over. It costs about 50cents to drive 105mile roundtrip to work. Cheap to buy the parts, but requires some mechanical apptitude. Contact me if you are interested. I helped lots of people do this as well as show them how to make biodiesel at home. Lets turn the world green!!
