My sweetie and I built a couple of SFGs for our garden a few months ago. We’ve got a couple of pics posted here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/96714492@N00/236998518/in/photostream/

I heard a great quote once about playing bass – “Vocals may be the soul of rock’n’roll music, and the guitar the heart, but bass goes straight to the booty.” I believe it was George Clinton that said that, but I’m not 100% sure.

The Brooklyn Bridge is still my favorite walk in NYC. I used to work in downtown Brooklyn, and would walk back into Manhattan every day to catch the 6 train at City Hall station, heading up to the Bronx, where I lived at the time.
The best and most scenic time of day to do it is just before sunset – especially when walking from the Brooklyn side to the Manhattan side.
