“I put my mind on evil sitting in my soul
Put my mind on evil just a-sitting on my soul
Struggling with the devil make a soul grow old”
This quote is a stanza from the poem Crossroads by Forrest Hamer. I found it in the book Poetry Daily. I find the last line of the poem to hold the most meaning and be very true about life.

Yesterday my mom and I were at the store picking out suntan lotion and face lotion with SPF for our vacation Memorial day weekend. While we were there I bought a new facial cleanser and a toner. I used to use St. Ives apricot scrub but now I’ve switched to Neutrogena foaming cleanser and toner. So now I just have to make sure I can keep a routine with washing my face.

I thinking about setting up calender and sticker system. It might be a little juvenile, but if it works for little kids then why can’t it work for big kids too. My idea is to make a chart for every week and every time I complete a daily task, like brushing my teeth, washing my face, drinking a certain amount of water, then I get a to check off that box for the day. If anything it’ll give me a visual of my progress and remind me of all the thing I want/need to do every day.
