My first cosplay is (for the most part) done! I just need to make the shoes all fancy.

I’m a novice cosplayer, but for the most part I’m pretty proud of how it looks! The design is different in EVERY SINGLE REFERENCE PICTURE OUT THERE, so we (we being my mom and I) had to make it according to what worked from various pictures. Over all it turned out AMAZING.

You wouldn’t believe how many other girls get lazy on the shoulder area. I’ve seen some pretty pathetic stuff when it comes to that part, and I really did my best to try. It’s called interfacing, people, it makes fabric stiff so it can defy gravity like you want it to. TRY IT OUT.

I’ve been to Animethon in Edmonton twice now, and I can’t wait to go next year!

You wouldn’t believe how great it feels to fit in so perfectly! The anime fandom is so openminded and loving, I’ve been ‘glomped’ by random people, and dude, even the littlest reason to do so is completely acceptable.
Also, the inside jokes. Remember trying to give a brief explaination to your friends about a certain series so they could understand the funny comic you were about to show them? NO MORE! Some kid makes a crack about Gaara feeling pretty or being afraid of yaoi fangirls stalking him and everyone who hears is going to understand AND think it’s funny. IT’S SO FREAKING AMAZING.

I’m definately cosplaying next year. So if anyone plans on going to Animethon 14, look for a Syaoran and Sakura (Tsubasa) Duo! I’d love to say hi :)

I always have my radio going loud when I’m in the shower, and I love to sing along! It’s fun, and you always sound good in the shower! x) Haha!
