My fave is the one on the inside of my lip! I would recommend it to anyone
I am still going strong on this goal. My wicked Sprite cravings have finally stopped. I am actually doing well with this. I don’t really even think about pop as an option when I eat at restaurants anymore. I have also cut down on the amount that I am eating at restaurants, so that really helps.
I am not sure if I will continue with this goal into 2009. I kept my 2007 goal and still havent had fast food… I didn’t really drink that much pop to begin with at home. So I may just say no drinking pop at home but continue to drink pop when eating out. I am not sure. I would naturally drink less pop since I am eating out less.. but I don’t want to start drinking vats of pop if I suddenly start eating out a lot again.
I am not sure what I will do, but I do know this: I will work just as hard as I have all year to make sure that I don’t drink any pop in 2008.
I got my first freelance article published!! I have tickets to see a play tomorrow night and I saw one two weeks ago.
I am pretty pumped!
Now I am leaning more towards a derby inspired tattoo.. I still want to get the vector heart one, with the French sentences, but I am just so addicted to Derby that I want to add something permanent hahahahha.
I have technically finished this goal, but then I stopped running in favour of roller skating for Roller Derby. Now I think I am going to start the program over again so that I can build up my lung capacity.
It was not worth my time or effort to do it myself so I let the professionals handel it! SO worth it!
I found something even better, it is a sport called roller Derby and it is tough and mean and fast paced and I am totally addicted!

Still not drinking any pop.. it has been really hard a few times… especially at restaurants or pubs. I am so close now that I dont want to break my awesome no pop streak!
Go me!!!
Right before I moved I threw out a bunch of stuff and gave two huge bags of clothing away. Then when I got into my new place I gave awat 2 more huge boxes and 3 more bags of clothing. It is so much nicer and goes way beter with my decorative style which is very minimalist.
WOw so now I have my own place!
It costs a lot more then I thought it would.
I currently have a savings account and a list of all the things in order that I want to fix or buy. I have thus far repainted the walls, and changed the faceplates. I have also added a curved shower bar, and refinished some furniture. Left on my list are a drier, a table and chairs, a new bed and frame, and a new chandelier.
My new air conditioner is on its way tonight so that will cool the place down ALOT ( it was 83 in there when I got home and I am used to sleeping in 72 degrees).
Today I have an appointment at the Lawyer’s office to sign and put the down payment up for my new condo.. then I will officially own my own place.
One of the hardest things is letting go of stuff “I think I might use.”
I have had several decor items from my very first apartment (circa 3 years ago!) that I still have held on to. Things that went with my prior decorating theme (Cheap, Walmart, Tropical) don’t go with my current decorating trends (quality, serenity, and comfort).
I HAVE TO LET GO!
My current mattress is nearly 18 years old… Ya… it’s time for a new bed!
I would like to buy a new mattress and boxspring, as well as getting a nice frame with a gorgeous headboard.
I would also like to buy new bedding as I have had the same stuff for about 7 years.
I have a painting that I did that I ABSOLUTELY love so I want to frame and hang that in my place. My friend Sienna is painting me something, and I am hoping my friend Kevin will screen print me another piece of awsome art! I have a few ideas in mind for a couple other funky pieces that are very DIY and cute.
I tried wearing more hats.
THey didn’t always look good on me.
Most were baseball style hats.
I kept a few that I liked and will wear them with giant hoop earrings.
Because that’s just me.
I went to see the Andy Warhol exhibit at the local art gallery. It was really interesting. I can’t say that I loved every single one of his pieces, but I liked many of them and especially I liked the stories behind the pictures.
Man this goal is HARD!!!
I am moving, and trying to declutter before I move.
I am hoping that the iminant move will force me to de clutter.
Several coworkers have offered their home up for a group garage sale, which is nice becaus my apartment complex has NO where to have a yard sale.
As I sort through things I laugh at some of the silly things I have kept. Some things I want to keep holding on to even though I know I should get rid of it…
I also gave a few bags of things to one of the women’s shelter’s in town. There will also be a bag of business clothes for the “Dress for Success” charity in town as well.
It is WAY easier to give away stuff when you know it is going to a really good cause, and especially personal for me, helping women who are escaping abusive relationships.
