Dear 43 Things Users,

10 years after introducing 43 Things to the world, we have decided we have met our last goal: completing the incredible experience that has been 43 Things. Please join us in giving one last cheer to all the folks who have shared their goals with the world, as well as all the people who have worked at The Robot Co-op to build this incredible website. We won a Webby Award, published a book, and brought happiness to a lot of people.

Starting today, 43 Things users can export their goals and entries from the site. Starting August 15, we will make the site “read only”. 43 Things users will still be able to view the site and export their content, but we won’t be taking any new content from users. We hope to leave the site up for folks to see and download their content until the end of the year. Ending on New Year’s Eve takes us full circle.

It has been a long ride (one of our original goals was to "build a company that lasts at least 2 years” - we beat that one!) While we wish the site could live on, it has suffered from a number of challenges - changes in how people use the site, the advertising industry, and how search engines view the site. We wish the outcome was different – but we’ve always been realistic about when our goals are met and when they aren't.

As of today, you will be able to download your goals and entries. See more about that on the FAQ page. Thanks for 10 great years of goal-setting and achieving.

New Year's Dinner

It was great fun…Being pregnant, I ordered the turkey but made a couple of dishes myself…Prepared warm wine for friends on that cold cold night…

Well being pregrant, you directly become a healty eater. Feels great, you feel more alive and cheerful. Gives confidence too, the same way you feel after you have done succesfull work-out. Something you promise yourself to do and delivering it 100%. Hope to continue with this as much as possible after the delivery too…:-))

I started inviting friends over for sunday breakfasts…It is so much fun & a lovely way to start the day…
Also so much easier than preparing a full dinner…
Now that I am pregnant, I have become somewhat lazy I would quess…

I have started reading Ayn Rand’s Atlas Shrugged…Seems great…We will see how it goes…

Pregnancy...

Now that I am pregnant, I have to be careful and playing tennis is not really recommended…
Hopefully the baby is going to be born in march 07 …The first months are gonna be hectic dealing with him/her…May be by this time next year, I might start tennis again…

I have a routine now...

Well it is going to gym for 1-2 times every week, for the last 2 months or so…In june all my weekends were filled with travels for weddings in other cities and for holidays so my gym rate could not get higher. Well I am committed to deliver the program the trainer gave to me…When I get bored, I switch to cardio, I will also start using the pool soon…

Well my husband is too busy, can not seem to find the time or motivation for this…We are spending our weekends cuddling, watching movies, drinking coffee…I love these weekends with him, just we can never get to start a dancing course..

Cooking on mondays

Cooking on mondays is really working for me…I am cooking 2-3 different meals on mondays, we eat these on monday-wednesday and after that we go out on friday, weekends we are always out doing something with friends or with my husband…
Today I am gonna cook fish, which is easy for me now, this time with potatoes and mushroom, gonna be wonderful hopefully..
Also meat with vegetables for my husband, his favourite appaerantly. Salad to go with these… Actually I haven’t cooked for about 15 days, I am looking forward to going home…

I took the culture trip in Side, visited the antique city, Manavgat, Aspendos and all…All marvelous…

yesterday I went for pilates…This evening after work, I will be going to gym… I am trying to go 2-3 times a week but it is a bit boring on your own, I catch myself trying to find excuses for not exercising…

The new system is cooking on mondays in large amounts :)) and going to gym the following 2 evenings…! It seems to be working now…I got my cooking book with me, I do the shopping after work by looking at the recipes..:))
