It was an “Acting for non actors” class but it was something different. And I figured at the very least it would help me with overcoming stage fright. It was too elementary and didn’t get much out of it but at least I tried it.

How I did it: 1. I ordered my credit reports for free from https://www.annualcreditreport.com/cra/index.jsp. This is the ONLY site where US residents can get their annual credit for free, its government mandated. Any other website that claims to offer "free" reports or credit scores are lying to you. There is always a catch!2. Download your 3 credit reports from Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. Review what's in them and look for things like 1) … Read how I did it…
This was definitely an area where I’d to force myself open-minded because I’ve a tendancy to be skeptical when its comes to anything “coaching” related. Two months into, I still catch myself thinking I’m being hustled but I’ll see it to the end before I can make a judgement.
It’s already past mid-February and I’m starting to feel the pressure to step it up. If I’m in fact to re-invent myself, I’ll need to take drastic and bold actions, as they say, “Opportunities happen when you TAKE ACTION”. I know I need to wake up every day and focus on taking as many actions (big or small) as possible and focus less on the outcome. I know that’s the only way I’ll I’ll learn from my mistakes and grow. I can’t afford to sit back and evaluate everything before I make a move anymore because fear will set in and I’ll always find a way to talk myself out of it. So I’ve a reminder on a sticky note on my laptop to “Be fearless – wake up each morning with an attitude of conquering the world and go at it with the upmost confidence”
In addition to exploring career direction in the health & fitness space, I want to be savvy in these areas too, which will directly or indirectly contribute to my professional success.
- Become a master hostess and entertainer – now that we’ve a house and have it beautifully decorated, I can start out small by invite friends/family and start hosting dinner and brunch get togethers.
- Become a great cook and master few signiture dishes. Now that I’ve invested in a quality cookware, there’s no excuse but to start experimenting with recipes.
- Become a great writer – lauch and maintain blog and do ongoing research on various topics to blog about. I know I’m a good writer, maybe even better than many of the bloggers out there. The difference is that they’ve taken action and I’ve not, that’s it. All I’ve to do is START and see where it takes me. My immediate goal shouldn’t be to get a large audience or blow up, but to simply get my feet wet and get into the habit of writing regularly. And once I get a hang of it, I can focus on finding a more sophisticated platform and how to get people to hear what I’ve got to say. For now I should write quitely and make a point to support other bloggers and maybe guest blog for other established bloggers and comment on their topics, which I know most appreciate.
- I also want to get back to being the scrappy and resourceful person I’ve always known myself to be. Now is the time to explore creative avenues to make money, so I can stay home with my daughter without feeling inadequate or putting all the financial responsibility on S. There are so many women we’ve figured this out and they’re very successful, why can’t that also be me???
