well, i was an exchange student 2 years ago, and i would love to do it again. my year away from home was the most amazing year of my life. i learned os much and experienced so much! my life there was just about perfect, or at least it seemed that way. I want it back!!

How I did it: I had to stop trying to really do it. It happened while i was with "my kids" - my students- in Africa. They were never afraid to show what they were feeling, thinking, whatever. How I did it: For as long as I can remember I've wanted to go to Africa, so I started saving up my money and looking for different opportunitites to be able to go. THrough dfiferent connections i was able to find a "host" home in a convent in a tiny village in the middle of nowhere, central Uganda. So I spent 6 weeks there living with the nuns, and working as a teacher and as a nurse. Back here in the states i'm a CNA, so i put those skills to use and … Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well, when my boyfriend found out that I had to set 3 alarms (literally) to actually wake myself up in the morning, he started calling me when it was time to wake up. So every morning I would wake up to the sound of his ringer, then answer my phone and the first voice I hear is his. Which makes it worth getting up.
