How I did it: Reading, having friends with big vocabularies, and not being afraid to ask what a word means if I don't know it or use one whose meaning I'm unsure about, then look it up and make sure I used it correctly. Read how I did it…
How I did it: basically whenever i was talking about music tastes with anyone i'd mention it. the women i work with at a bookstore use it for it's tag radio feature now, and i generally send people links to mine if they need to see every band i listen to. which isn't often. Read how I did it…
How I did it: don't be at the computer unless i absolutely have to. separate myself from anything that could distract me. start work in school the same day it's assigned, and work on it before classes start or during dull ones that don't require attention. Read how I did it…

i’ve learnt more and more every summer for the past few years. first i knew a chord, then a couple chords, and now i know about eight chords, some scales and a handful of chord progressions. it’s not enough. i need to practice lots, but i still haven’t found a guitar i can practice on regularly.
alright, i’ve done every day for over a week, but then i ran out of paper in the notebook i was writing in. still, it’s a step in the right direction.
