I wish I could turn back time with my friend and somehow make her see sense, before all the lies and hurt happened. I want things to be just how they were for the 11 years we’ve been friends, but now I don’t think we’ll see the next year as friends. Too much has happened, and it’s just not fair.

How I did it: Well, I had to memorise some poems for my Higher English, and that wasn't pleasant because I HAD to do it. But I've also memorised "O Me, O Life" by Walt Whitman because it is such a great poem and sums up how I feel pretty much all the time. I would still love to memorise Ode by Arthur O'Shaughnessy...but that poem is enormous. Many times I'll just randomly recite it when the mood takes me. It's become a motto of mine. Read how I did it…
There’s a concert in London March next year that I want to go to. I could go see Phantom of the Opera while I’m there but it’s quite sad how terrified I am of going to London on my own. It’s not light years away but I’ve never been out of the country on my own before, and I’m scared I’d get lost on the Tube (I don’t understand that thing!) or I’ll get mugged (the TV brainwashes you about gangs and what-not) or I’ll have a horrible time because I’ll be all on my own and have no one to share it with. =S I honestly don’t know.
I’m so surprised and happy. I feel bad for hoping my friend didn’t get a better result though, because she actually failed. I almost feel I made it happen.
But I can still say I’m good at English, and now I have a little something to back me up.
