I’m signed up for classes, I have an idea of what I want to write, now I actually have to start throwing some pasta around and see what sticks. There’s no reason I can’t start submitting freebies. I just wish my current job weren’t so stressful and unrelated to my goals.

How I did it: It took me 2 years to convince my husband and save the money. After we'd paid off all our debts, the same money went to savings. I’ve wanted to, but never had a focus until recently. I’m signed up for a few classes this fall. I never finished my degree the first time around, and now I’m officially considered “independant” from my rich, unhelpful parents, as far as FAFSA is concerned. To boot, I have a very flexible job. All the cards are in my favor! Now I just have make the classes.
I quit World of Warcraft. This helped. A LOT. I think I might be done with Progress Quest type games for good!
