It took almost a year but my blood pressure is final where it should be 123/somethin’ (can’t remember). I’ve been loosing weight (lost 10 lbs so far) so I’m sure that’s helped. I am soooo happy that I don’t have to worry about that anymore. I was too young for my blood pressure to be so high. Yikes!

How I did it: I did my research, went to a loctician and got them done! I started with comb coils and maintain with palm rolling and latching. Loves it! I now track my journey through LocRocker.com. Read how I did it…
My blog, Clumps of Mascara allows me to write articles/posts at least 3 times a week. I am also a columnist at MahoganyButterfly.com AND a new member of Clinique’s Insider Club….which means I write reviews for their products. While most would not consider “writing reviews” actually WRITING, I find so much joy in writing about beauty for Black women. I also get my intellectual writing in by blogging on my personal blog. I’ve even done a few poems and short stories. So it’s back!!
I went yesterday. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be. It definitely could have been worse. I did a great job at randomly choosing a dentist. Each patient has his or her own personal TV to watch while the hygienist scraps all in your mouth. Definitely keeps your focus off of the potential man. I’ll be back next month to fill some cavities and get those wisdom teeth taken out. Ugh!
