Five days without a cigarette. I’m clear on all my reasons for quitting, but I still can’t help missing it. I liked smoking, dammit. Plus I think I’ve gained five pounds or more. None of my pants fit right. Which means I have to stay quit. I can’t let that weight gain be for nothing! And my skin looks fantastic.

3 days smoke free and counting. My worst time is right after meals. I just try to go straight from eating to knitting or something else that keeps my fingers busy.
