I jumped off Chimney Rock down in Alabama last summer… someone died jumping off the tallest one, so that was closed off. However, we got to jump off the next-tallest rock, and it was amazing! I thought I wouldn’t be able to do it, but it looked like too fun a thing NOT to do. Stay SAFE when you do this, I beg of you, but really, it was fantastic.

My parents were extras in a Michael Landon boxing movie, and they said it was pretty fun. It’d be a pretty cool thing to point out to your kids someday.
The police lent my brother a segway to ride around WPI in while he had a twisted ankle, cause it was really hard for him to hobble around “the city of seven hills” while on crutches. He brought it home for my mom, dad, and me to try out. It was the coolest thing! I have to admit, I was absolutely terrified once I first got onto it, but it took me only about a minute to work it out. Once I got used to it, it was SO much fun! Course, there was also a great point in that my dignified father ran into our car with it and fell off, and my fifty-three year old mom who hates all things scary got on and had the best time. I HIGHLY recommend renting one for a day every now and then, but since they cost anywhere from 2.5k to 5k, buying one would prolly not be too smart (unless you live somewhere like washington D.C. or some such place and use it to commute).
