How I did it: All my life I wanted to be a "social butterfly" and "fit in". I am not known for my social graces, I don't get hints, I don't understand the way people think and I am not like anyone else. I thought this goal would help but I was wrong. How I did it: I bought into a membership for a catalog where you sell things from. Then I sold the items. I love giving discounts. But I found that in a small town it was better for me to go to work using the skills as a nurse aide rather than trying to keep it going. Now, I still sell the items and give them as gifts, but it's just something I do on the side for fun. I am not sorry I did it though. I love it. When I first set this goal, I was nearing 250 pounds. I’ve changed my eating habits, walk more instead of drive and changed my attitude towards life altogether. I am now at 221. Go me! Go me!
I wrote one Rambler and it published. I love it! I have it cut out and pinned to my board for motivation. I have the next one wrote, now I just have to email it. It will probably be in the next newspaper.
